General Difficulties with Christian "Messianic Prophecies"

In the following I [will] give several general types of problem one confronts when examining Christian "Messianic Prophecies". Being made aware of these one is able to spot the faults with such "prophecies" without having specifically read a response to them. After all, it is not our goal to think for you, but to give you the tools to understand the Torah perspective on Mashiach and recognize that which is contrary to it.

Since these are reoccurring problems I will not cite all the examples but only more noticeable ones to make my point. Latter, when I deal with such passages one by one, I will try to make reference back to these sections. In this way it will not be necessary to fully describe the problem each time it occurs, making the text redundant, but it will be sufficient to refer the reader back to where it is elaborated on.
